panorama Vista

This is a basic data viewer for 2D and 3D spectroscopic data and molecules of various origins and data formats. It provides functions to load, save, display and print 2D and 3D analytical data and molecular structures.

Analytical data can be collected and organized in projects. The project explorer provides an optimal way to manage your data from various heterogneous data sources with one tool and very little effort.

Simply drag & drop data from the MS-Windows Explorer onto the panorama project explorer and organize it in projects and folders as your working environment requires it.

 

panorama Vista is the core application of the panorama product family. All other products are based on the architectural framework this software package provides.

Project Administration

panorama's project administration module provides a comprehensive tree view and a project management database which are used to organize your data according to your needs. You can create projects and folders within projects, copy data, move data and display data. It is possible to store any file into a project or folder. By this you can easily combine your analytical data together with related reports written in Winword, Excel or as Adobe PDF document.

The project explorer also allows easy handling of large series of data sets, with its set of bulk operations for many files.

 

Supported File Formats

panorama supports the file import and export from/to all major data formats like:

  • Galactic's SPC data
  • JCAMP-DX data
  • Thermo Nicolet's SPA data
  • Perkin Elmer's SP data
  • Horiba's MDW data
  • Camspec 1AA data
  • ACD's SK2 data
  • MDL's MOL data
  • User defined ASCII x,y (Excel)

The software provides a plug-in concept for the import/export data formats, so it allows extension of supported file formats with your custom data format easily!

 

2D and 3D Data Visualization

panorama displays 2 dimensional analytical data with axes, units and other important related information on the application workspace at a glance. All needed basic and many advanced operations to analyze your data are available:

  • many more easy to use and intuitive viewing features...

3D analytical data is visualized as three dimensional cube or as two dimensional top down view. Advanced zooming and rotating functions are available to view the data from all relevant positions. You have the opportunity to display 2D cuts online and move through your 3D data in real time. 2D cuts can be extracted as new 2D data objects for further processing.

 

Professional Reporting

panorama contains powerful, but still easy to use, reporting capabilities. All analytical data and its related information can be directly printed using predefined print layout templates. The templates are easy to edit and modify and automatically assigned by the software to the current object to be printed.

In addition inter-application exchange off all relevant data via the Windows Clipboard is supported. Just paste a picture of the examined spectrum area into your Winword report or transfer the spectral data to Excel by using Copy/Paste.

 

Localization

panorama is available in English, German and Japanese. The software automatically detects the language of the operation system and switches to the appropriate language pack. Beside that the user is free to select his preferred language independently of the operation system's language.
