Releasing Panorama 8 | Major Upgrade for Our Product Family!

We are excited to launch the brand-new version 8 of our software product family! As usual you can try out the new features for free or upgrade directly to enhance the performance of your Panorama, irAnalyze and RAMalyze software!

Depending on your current software version, this update brings significant improvements in both performance and design. With a smoother user experience, faster processing, and an optimized interface, version 8.0 makes your workflow more efficient than ever.

  • a new approach to label management featuring a dedicated tab for favorite labels
  • spectrum coloring based on numeric label values
  • upon request: the new software versions are compatible with the new leasing server of labCognition. This product enables access to floating licenses registered on a license leasing server
Relevant changes
  • customers choosing the protection device licensing model will receive driverless golden dongles
  • the old red dongles will only be provided upon explicit request, as they are not compatible with Windows 11
  • the new software starting with version 8.0 will no longer be compatible with Windows 7

Precise Spectrum Coloring

New Feature

From now on, spectra can be color-coded based on a numerical value. For an entire set of spectra, gradient shading can also be applied. Users can manually define lower and upper limits to highlight specific value ranges with color.

This is particularly useful, for example, when the concentration values of samples are known and one wants to quickly identify all spectra that exceed a certain concentration threshold.

Efficient Label Handling

New Feature

Thanks to the new label handling concept, importing spectra with many labels is now up to 20 times faster. All labels associated with an object are loaded completely and efficiently. The newly redesigned label panel also includes a favorites filter, allowing users to display selected labels and focus more precisely.

Dank des neuen Konzepts für das Label-Handling erfolgt der Import von Spektren mit vielen Labels nun bis zu 20-mal schneller. Alle Labels, die ein Objekt mit sich bringt, werden vollständig und effizient geladen. Im neu gestalteten Label-Panel ermöglicht ein Favoriten-Filter zudem die Anzeige ausgewählter Labels, wodurch der Fokus gezielter gesetzt werden kann.
