Assign Data Access Roles

The command "Assign Data Access Roles" invokes the Data Access Role Assignment Editor to assign access roles to users. This is usually the last step after creating and customizing a new data access role. Data access roles may also be assigned using the User Manager. This command is only available after the initial Data Access Role setup has been completed using the Data Access Control Wizard or the command Setup Data Access Roles.

To start assigning data access roles, please follow the instructions below:

1. From the Security menu, select the Assign Data Access Roles command.

2. The Data Access Role Assignment Editor will be started.

3. Assign/Reassign data access roles.
