Edit Data Access Roles

The command "Edit Data Access Roles" invokes the Data Access Role Editor to manage the individual access rights for a data access role. New roles need to be added to the data access hierarchy first using the command Manage Data Access Roles. This command is only available after the initial Data Access Role setup has been completed using the Data Access Control Wizard or the command Setup Data Access Roles.

To start editing data access roles, please follow the instructions below:

  1. From the Security menu, select the Edit Data Access Roles command.

  2. The Data Access Role Editor will be started.

  3. Modify the individual access rules.

  4. New data access roles need to be assigned to individual users using the Assign Data Access Roles command in the Security menu.
