Stop Recording script

The stop recording script command stops the current script recording and displays a Files Save dialog. The command is accessible via the scripting menu or the script recorder. Once recorded and saved, the script can be edited with the script editor or added to an application menu for easy access. Refer to the scripting section for details.

Stop recording script is performed as follows:

To stop recording a script using the menu command, please follow the instructions below:

  1. From the Scripting menu, select the Stop Recording Script command.

  2. A File Save dialog is displayed.

  3. The dialog will initially point you to the default folder for recorded scripts. If applicable navigate to the destination file location on your hard disc or network neighborhood.

  4. Click the Save button.

Stop recording script - script recorder command

To stop recording a script using the script recorder, please press the Stop recording button on the script recorder. Continue with step 2 as shown above to save the recorded script.

Stop recording script keyboard shortcut

To record a script using a keyboard shortcut, please press the key combination listed in the keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts for the commands record script and stop recording are identical.
